How do you gather and analyze market data, trends, and competitive intelligence?

Through our educational content platform, Park Street University, Park Street’s content and marketing team works with various industry partners to obtain reputable reports, such as from IWSR and then compares and contrasts with our existing data.

Can you help with pricing strategy, margin optimization, and profitability modeling?

While Park Street doesn’t ultimately determine this, we provide prospective and current suppliers with pricing tool calculators that assist in calculating these numbers based on the Park Street costs, third-party expenses, and the supplier’s shelf retail price (SRP) and cost of goods sold (COGS).

Can you forecast demand, growth, and expansion opportunities?

Park Street provides various tools and reports by way of our Navigator system for suppliers to make these educated decisions, but that operates independently of Park Street directly.

What reporting tools, dashboards, or KPIs do you provide in BI services?

Park Street has a proprietary, cloud native platform called Navigator that has a main dashboard designed to highlight the main tools and reports suppliers need on a daily basis. Then there are dozens of individual tools and reports on a per category basis (e.g., compliance, accounting, sales) that track and allow further analysis on a pretty granular level.

How do you ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in intelligence modeling?

Much of the reports that Park Street offers comes in via EDI and/or API capabilities with our partners, such as warehouses. In addition, having an in house IT and product development department ensures that we can cross-check this data and be agile with any required changes.

What costs, subscription fees, or project fees are associated with advisory services?

We do not offer true advisory services, but we are glad to act as a “though partner” based on feedback from suppliers and clients. Therefore, there are no additional fees, just Park Street’s standard platform fees that are billed on a monthly basis.

Can you monitor KPIs in real time and alert me to anomalies or risks?

Suppliers manage their own KPIs, but Navigator allows them to monitor KPIs such as sales volume and velocity. Teams notify the supplier whenever there is unusual activity related to the account.

Can you advise on go-to-market strategies for new markets or segments?

The Park Street University platform is made up of podcasts, blogs, white papers, and YouTube videos to inform suppliers, brand owners, and other industry stakeholders on strategies that have been used by successful brands in a wide range of topics, including route-to-market and e-commerce.
