Heaven Hill has announced the acquisition of Samson & Surrey, a premium spirits company with a presence in over 30 markets worldwide. It was founded in 2016 by industry veterans Robert Furniss-Roe and Juan Rovira. The Samson & Surrey portfolio includes Tequila Ocho, Widow Jane American Whiskey, Few Spirits, Brenne French Whisky, Bluecoat Gin, and Mezcal Vago.

Kentucky-based Heaven Hill is one of the largest independent, family-owned spirits producers in the world. It has a diverse portfolio of brands including Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Rittenhouse Rye, Deep Eddy Vodka, Admiral Nelson’s rum, and PAMA liqueur among others. The acquisition extends Heaven Hill’s portfolio in several of the industry’s fastest-growing categories.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
