The Rum Lab, a US-based seminar and event program, recently announced that the 3rd annual MidWest Rum Festival will be returning to Chicago this year. The festival will take place on Saturday, April 8th at the Logan Square Auditorium and be divided into two main sessions being held from 12pm to 5:30pm.
The day kicks off with a “Spirit Industry Session” which provides industry professionals the opportunity to network with brand representatives and industry colleagues, attend training seminars and sample various brands. Guest speakers include Bryan Davis, founder of the distilled spirits company Lost Spirits and the inventor of “the davis method”, which replicates the process and effects of barrel aging spirits in a lab.
