Wine importer, Quintessential, has acquired all US-produced wines in the Accolade Wines portfolio, effective August 1. The acquisition includes the production, global sales, and marketing of Geyser Peak, Atlas Peak, Outlot, and XYZin. In May, the two companies initially announced an importing partnership for the brands, but with this transaction, Accolade will be exiting its involvement in the US market.
“As the Geyser Peak brand enters its 140th anniversary this year, our main focus will be in growing its footprint and continuing to restore the wine to its former glory,” said Dennis Kreps, co-owner for Quintessential.
